The Future Of Gaming Laptops

Laptop computers have most likely been on the top of everybodies must have list lately. Taiwan, which is the foremost manufacturing country of laptop computers is having trouble with the demand at present. It seems like once there are pending orders those will only grow because demand for laptops is not diminishing at all. I think what makes it difficult is that the technology changes all the time.

One of the rising trends is gaming notebooks. The price points on new technology usually falls quick nowadays because everybody is always searching for the latest product to come out. Speed is also improving and gaming on notebook computers is becoming more acceptable for gaming by those who need to be mobile. Smaller parts that perform better and are more heat efficient also means that gone are the ages of the massive notebook computers for gaming. Regardless of the fact that power has greatly increased and the designs are streamline, honestly power will and should forever trail behind desktops. I do not give it too long before we see ultra light gaming notebooks on the market.

There are always those people that need a laptop custom built because they need to use it for a particular field of work. Ram and hard disks are normally high performance engineered parts in custom notebooks which power users like. In my mind being able to choose the processor, memory and storage is best catered for the more hardcore people out there. The computers found in shops are normally prebuilt based average, mass market users and well not everybody is mediocore now are they? For the power users, custom notebooks close the gap. Brands who build custom notebooks usually offer a more personal and local support as well. I really feel this is a main thing that goes in favour for purchasing a laptop thats made to .

Tons of cool devices are being released soon. Except from what has already been mentioned UMPC’s are an additional massive product witnessing a rise this year. Plenty of duplicate products have already been released at a rapid pace. In my view the market would adapt well to a 15 inch variant modelled on the identical principles. Manufacturers must be working on an answer to this as we speak. It wouldn’t surprise me to see ultra mobile gaming notebooks in the next 4 years time. All the manufacturers are vying to introduce the next major noteboo so it’ll be interesting to observe.

I’ve found what I believe to be best gaming laptops.

Do You Have The Write Stuff?

I have an ambitious nephew who wants to become a writer. I think he has the idea in his head that this is romantic, free, and inspiring.

And if this is what he thinks, he’s correct. Writing can be one of the best vocations in the world, if you get into it for the “write” reasons and if you have the “write” stuff.

In my view it’s not how many books you sell or readers you can attract that determines whether you’re successful. It’s whether your readers really enjoy your work, and indirectly, you.

For instance, one of my habits when I was reasonably new to publishing was hunting for my books in every B. Dalton and other store I came across.

One day, I saw four of my titles on a shelf when a woman came in to browse. I spied on her from ten feet away, and sure enough, she took two of these books down, smiled as she turned the pages, brought them to the register, and paid for them!

I’ll never forget what she looked like. Out of the hundreds of thousands who have done the same thing over the years, all of whom I’ve never seen, hers is the face I see when I think about NOT writing my next book.

“What will she read, then?” I wonder.

I’ve also been fortunate inasmuch as I’ve received calls and emails through the years from grateful readers who have asked when my next book is coming out, and inquired about my audios and videos.

To me, you have the “write” stuff if you’re interested in communicating with an audience, getting a message across, something that they just won’t hear or see, at least in your particular way, from any other source.

If this is your motivation, welcome to the club!

“Foot Pain Relief At Last!”

“As an arthritis specialist, one area that I see people complain about more often than almost any other, is their feet.” So says Dr. Nathan Wei, Clinical Director of The Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Maryland. “This is too bad because there are many treatments that can be helpful,” Dr. Wei adds.

The foot is made up of 26 bones and 39 muscles…
The foot and ankle are designed to bear weight. The multiple joints in the feet are capable of adjusting to almost any terrain and the padding in the feet are designed to absorb shock.. The ankle joint allows the foot to move up and down, side to side, and inward and outward (inversion and eversion).

Not All Foot Pain Comes From The Foot!
Careful examination of the low back, hip, and knee should be performed because pain from these areas may affect the foot and ankle. In particular, pinched nerves in the low back can cause foot pain and weakness.

Ankle sprains are common- 25,000 people sprain an ankle every day!
The goal of treatment is to relieve pain and prevent instability.
Treatment of an acute sprain consists of rest, ice compression and elevation (”RICE”). Exercises to help stabilize and strengthen the ankle should be started.

Arthritis of the ankle may cause recurrent pain and swelling.
Pain from arthritis typically is made worse by weight-bearing particularly on uneven ground. What this means is you should try to avoid excessive walking or running on uneven ground. Anti-inflammatory medication and proper foot support can do wonders.

Pain in the ball of the foot has many causes…

Other common causes of foot pain include:

Muscle strengthening exercises and orthotics are helpful.
Two other common problems are:

Well fitted orthotics (arch supports) can alleviate not only foot and ankle pain but pain in the knees, hips, low back, and neck!!

We often take the ability to walk for granted. This ability involves the use of two engineering marvels- our feet and ankles. Because of the tremendous amount of force transmitted to the feet with walking, unique problems may develop. Attention to proper preventative care, i.e., comfortable shoes, sox, hygiene, support, along with proper prompt medical care can really put the brakes on foot pain.

Dr. Wei (pronounced “way”) is a board-certified rheumatologist and Clinical Director of the nationally respected Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Maryland. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and has served as a consultant to the Arthritis Branch of the National Institutes of Health. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. Use a Large Dildo for a Great Orgasm with your Girl

Some chaps have a tough time keeping a hard on and some females have extremely long sex drives, meaning it takes the gal a mega long time to come. Because of this contrast in sex drives, sex will probably become an annoying and undesirable session. That’s why stubby dildos will often be helpful. If the bloke ejaculates early in the session, or even if the woman just takes longer than her man, he can continue to penetrate the lady with the dildo. That way all sexual mischief doesn’t have to end. It gives the male time to recharge his energy and helps the chick stimulated. Thus when the bloke is ready to come back into the session, the lady will still be aroused enough to accept the guy. Looking for the a great orgasm then get Adult and Sex Toys.

Your most sensual soft spot is your brain. And as noticeably as numerous feminists will not admit this, the penis is a traditional symbol of fertility, no matter how big or little, it is still associated with fertility. Penetrating your mistress with a thick dildo will often make a fantasy of power fun reality.

Some ladies delight in the sensation of feeling full in their vagina or anus. Whenever a sex toy such as a slim dildo, penetrates the vagina or back passage, the muscles contract around it. Many women notice the tightening of the above muscles to be remarkably enjoyable.

Finally No Wires! Guide To Using an EVDO Internet Access Card & Router for Trade Shows

In February 2006 D-Link, a well known router company, and Kyocera, a well known cell phone products manufacturer, launched a product that will revolutionize how trade show exhibitors will gain access to broadband Internet access.

In most cases exhibitors didn’t have many options when it came to Internet access at trade shows, in fact there was really only one. You either rented it from the show production company or went without. At some shows the daily access rate was $500 or more. Now there is an option. In the past year wireless access through cellular phone systems has increased at a staggering rate and that access is now available in a format that can be shared by multiple users.

The technology is called EVDO and this is what cellular carriers Verizon Wireless and Sprint use to distribute a wireless broadband signal to its subscribers. A typical setup includes an account with one of these providers, a laptop and an access card that plugs into the PC card slot or PCMCIA Slot. This setup is fine if only one user wanted access, but what if you wanted to create a wired or wireless network?

This is where the "revolution" takes place…the EVDO router. This router, available at Kyocera and at D-Link in the near future, enable you to take the access card and share it via a wired or wireless access. Similar technologies existed before this router came out, but they weren’t billed as affordable options. The Kyocera EVDO Router has a street price of $250 - $300. These are the items you will need in order to use this technology.

Internet Access Account - $60-$100 per month* - Verizon Wireless or Sprint
EVDO PC Card - $50-$200**
EVDO Router - $250-$300***
Total - $1740-$2900 - based on 24 Months of Service

*see service provider’s websites for details and offers.
**see service provider’s websites for details and offers.
***see hardware provider’s websites for details and offers.

Currently, most service providers require you to sign a 24 month contract for both a phone and Internet access to get their lowest rate so please check to see if service (Verizon Coverage, Sprint Coverage) and what plans are available in your area. The total cost of 24 months of service and hardware can be equal to what one company pays for access at one show so you can see the incredible value. You also have the use of a technology that enables you to have access to the Internet 24/7/365 without the need of any wires.

When EVDO is coupled with state-of-the-art portable batteries then the technology can be used in ways never imagined. Imagine strapping on a framed camping backpack that has a portable battery, laptop, and an EVDO card plugged into the EVDO router. Also plugged into the router is a web-cam that has been attached to a helmet that is on your head. You now have a wireless, portable, go anywhere webcasting solution. Couple this setup with a wireless bluetooth headset that plugs into an EVDO phone (specialized phone that can be used with the router) and now you can provide interactive tours of the show floor with two-way communication that is broadcast back to a website. Other uses include POS systems and credit card authorization systems.

The way I see it, EVDO will not only save thousands of exhibitors’ money but it has created a new level of connectivity for our industry. It will also be used to create a whole new category of trade show experiences and for me that is the most exciting part!

Be On The Lookout For Spyware

One of the new ways criminals are using the internet is by spreading a spyware virus.

Spyware and adware are becoming commonplace on the internet, and it is essential that all computer users take the necessary steps to protect themselves from the damage they can do.

What is spyware anyway?

The term spyware virus actually covers a broad range of different items. For instance, there are spyware viruses that are relatively benign. These types of viruses may just record the sites you visit and use that information to send you advertisements or flood your browser with pop-up ads. While these spyware viruses are incredibly annoying, and most users would consider them an invasion of privacy, they are by no means the most harmful of this group.

The more harmful spyware viruses are those that attempt to steal your personal and private information, mostly financial information, and use it for ill gotten means. Just about everyone has heard the stories about the problems of identity theft, and many cases of identity have originated with the planting of a spyware virus on the victims computer. Unknown to the computer user, the spyware sits on the PC, quietly collecting sensitive private information like Social Security numbers and account numbers.

A challenging and dangerous problem

Whilst this type of spyware is bad enough, there is a variant that is potentially even more damaging. There are a growing number of spyware viruses that are in effect key logger programs. These programs exist to capture sensitive information like passwords and account numbers, and with so many people using online banking and investing it is easy to see how damaging this kind of information could be. These spyware viruses work by recording every keystroke a user makes on his or her computer, then those keystrokes are sent on to a third party, who uses them to steal valuable information.

The best protection against these kinds of spyware viruses is a solid anti virus software program, together with a good anti spyware program and spyware removal tool. More and more anti virus programs are incorporating spyware detection and removal into their products, but at the moment it is still better to install several different products. Anti spyware programs like Adaware, Spybot Search and Destroy and Spysweeper to an excellent job at keeping spyware off your computer.

Of course the best way to keep those spyware viruses off your computer is to run your anti virus software and spyware removal programs every day.

The programs will then report back on problems they have found, and give the user the option of what to do. After you have determined that a particular program truly is a spyware virus, you can remove it. Most anti spyware programs do a good job of fully removing any spyware they find, but it never hurts to run a second scan to make sure the spyware virus has been eliminated.

Just Say YES to Self-Care

We say we want to change things, we set New Year’s resolutions in place and we create lists of self-care goals. We make promises to ourselves, and sometimes to other people in our lives.

And, in every moment, we have a choice between what we’ll say yes to and what we’ll say no to.

1. Say YES to the fear! Doing something new or different might activate some fear in us. This is completely natural. And if we don’t go through with it we let the fear win and we don’t say YES.

2. Say YES to self-care! Even between two less-than-healthy choices we can always make the one that is more nourishing. This sends a message that you’re caring for yourself, that you deserve this care and attention and that you’re taking action to improve your self-care habits.

3. Say YES to saying NO! When we have the courage to say “no”, whether it’s to a request for time, to an offer of a tempting “treat”, or to our own negative thinking, we’re empowering ourselves and creating evidence that self-care comes first.

4. Say YES to making choices! When we say yes to making a choice it means we’re saying no to “auto-pilot” behaviour, such as watching the same television shows every day because that’s when they’re on, keeping the same routine (whether it works or not), or fretting over finishing the same chores every week.

5. Say YES to common sense! Keep it simple, usually the best solution is right in front of you and isn’t complicated. Sometimes we resist this because it seems “too easy” or it goes against what we’re used to and brings up a fear of change. Many of us overcomplicate things - the more we think the less we have to do!

How to take this to YOUR self-care plan:

A. Take a look at your self-care goals and your daily practice list and see which actions you haven’t taken yet. Now ask yourself honestly whether fear might be one of the things in your way. Journal about this or talk about it with someone you trust. Many times just realizing that I’m afraid gets me “unstuck”. As Susan Jeffers says in the title of her best-selling book, we can ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’.

B. Pick one day this week to try an experiment. Carry a notepad with you and mark every time you’re making a choice. Snap out of “auto-pilot”, just for one day, and become conscious of the choices you’re making, and the MANY opportunities for self-care in your day.

C. Tune into your common sense. When things are getting crazy in your day, stop for a moment and just ask yourself what the simplest solution would be, and then carry it out. Repeat whenever necessary.

Fast Food And Obesity:The Hidden Connection

Is there a connection between Fast food and obesity?

The answer to the above question is a big yes! Research scientists say that:

“fast foods increase the risk of obesity in regular consumers by encouraging intentional overeating.”

Fast food and obesity are closely linked. Studies have shown that fast foods are very high in energy density (the amount of calories different foods contain weight for weight) and these high density foods can cause people to accidentally eat more calories than they need.

A typical fast food meal has an energy density 150% more than an average traditional meal. A fast food meal contains many more calories than a similar-sized portion of a healthy meal.

Many supermarket ready-meals and convenience foods are also very energy dense. To stem the tide of obesity, it’s important that we don’t just swap one unhealthy meal for another.

Fast foods also contain high amount of sodium(salt), oil, refined sugar and refined flour which are no good to the body. This combination of the foods is the most health harming and causes obesity.

Ayurveda medical science says that refined sugar causes obesity, acidity, dental cavities, osteoporosis, high cholesterol levels, migraine, kidney deseases etc. and leads to metabolic disorders.

Fried fast foods cause acidity and indigestion. Refined flour is made by removing the outer cover of the grain. This reduces the nutritional value of the grains by removing fibre. Foods deficient in fibre give rise to constipation and irregular bowel habits.

Many diet and weight loss programs which advice fast foods for weight loss are greatly mistaken in their approach. You are advised to always keep away from such fad diet plans.
